It's a good idea to measure your yard or available space before buying an above ground pool. All the pools mentioned on this page are available in the following sizes unless otherwise stated: 18, 21, 24, 27, 30, 33. It's important you measure your space with an extra 2-4' around the pool on all sides for our crew to work around the pool during installation.
If your yard has limited access, you'll need to measure that too! We require 10 feet of clearance for the skid steer and equipment to access the area you're putting the above ground pool in. If you don't have enough room for access, you will more than likely require a hand dig installation, which is a bit more expensive and time consuming!
If you haven't already, you need to call the city permit office and figure out what requirements (if any) they have for your above ground pool to be built where you want it. Some cities have rules about easements and zoning. On top of making sure you're good with the city, you'll also need to call Okie811 to have all your underground lines marked before installation. Under no condition will we ever build a pool underneath hanging power lines. Those lines will have to be moved or you will have to move the pool.
We charge $3/mile, one way, over 20 miles from our place of business in Yukon, OK. If you are within 20 miles, there will be no mileage charge. Only 8" of excavation is included in the price of above ground pools. Anything over 8" necessary to level the ground for installation will be $15/inch for additional excavation. If you want to bury your pool, it is $35/inch. Any above ground pools buried over 24" are out of warranty with the manufacturer. Dig & mileage to be paid directly to installer.
1. Fit above ground pools to your yard in compliance with city zoning and building permits.
2. Call Okie811 to mark your lines.
3. Order sand for your pool.
4. Remove anything from the build site that you do not wish to be destroyed. This includes shrubs, fences, decks, children's toys, etc.
5. Decide where you want excess dirt.
6. Find an electrician if you don't have one.
7. Budget in your water expense for filling your pool.
1. Provide 10' of access for machinery.
2. Have water available and electricity within 100 feet of the pool.
3. Know where you want to put your pool, bonus points if you already have it marked out.
4. Pay all dig and mileage charges or remaining balance directly to the equipment operator upon completion.
5. Scheduling installation for above ground pools can be very complicated, please be patient.
1. Assemble and install steps.
2. Follow start up instructions for the pump and filter.
3. Enjoy your new above ground pool for years to come!
Pool companies almost always consider their bottom line over their customer satisfaction. They don't particularly care if a pool is a good fit for you or if it's of good quality because at least they get to make a few bucks off of your ignorance. With us, it's different. That's why we picked the Sentinel as our main above ground swimming pools for 2022 & 2023. We want our customers to make an informed decision and that's why we want to tell you exactly what you'll be getting- and why.
The Sentinel is an all resin pool. This means that over time, it will wear down slower than a metal pool. The #1 problem that arises with above ground pools is rust. Even with a resin pool, your wall will still be susceptible to rust over time. However, the innovative technology used to manufacture this pool puts it in a league of its own. The steel wall is coated with a thick, protective layer so rust can wait a few extra years. We kept this in mind when choosing what models to sell. The last thing we wanted to do was sell our customers a cheap, flimsy pool that would deteriorate quickly over time. With the Sentinel, you don't need to have buyers remorse.
The Sentinel model boasts:
If you're looking to replace your pump and filter, we recommend looking at Hayward Pool Products. Not only do they honor their warranties, they are one of the largest pool product manufacturers used nationwide. This means that you can find parts or technicians certified to work on their products everywhere, even Yukon, OK.

No matter what kind of sanitation system is on your pool, these winter pills are the best thing to keep your pool blue this summer. Simply follow the instructions inside and drop it in. This pill will release slowly over the course of the season. Once you open your pool, you simply remove it and use your pool as normal. It is safe on gunite, fiberglass, and vinyl liner swimming pools regardless if it's inground or above ground.
When you have someone close your pool, the return lines will need plugged. We recommend purchasing your plugs ahead of time so you aren't charged for them when its time to close the pool. Most pools require 1.5" plugs but some may require 2" or 1.25". The link below will take you to 1.5" plugs.
